The monster has being slain!!!

The curtain was drawn aside,

To look at the ghastly features of the fallen.

Horror was provoked, inwardly.

Outrage was expressed, silently.

When the monster was alive,

Did anyone speak out?

(Who could speak out?)

Did anyone condemn?

(Who could condemn?)

Now,

As its gruesome remains lay there,

Murmuring and sighs rifled through the throng.

Liberation was sought.

Liberation has been attained!
