Agony

A secret I have kept
I’ve kept locked
Locked and sealed
In the farthest corner
In my sick mind

Tormenting
Restless it makes me
Excruciating
The pain that sears through

I wish I could share
But I wouldn’t dare
Disgrace will befall
Friends will leave
Reputations will be lost

Yet I want to share
Bare it all out
Lay it all down
But
Scared I am
Loved ones will hurt
Foes will rejoice

I cut my wrists
And severed my veins
To bleed it out
Yet it remains

I hung myself
With a thick twine
Around my neck
To choke it out
Yet it breathes

I drink a mixture
Of venoms and acid
To poison its soul
And flush it out
Yet it lives

I guess
I’d have to
Endure this pain
All alone

Laws of Motion

The first law of motion
It describes inertia
Unless there’s an external force, example, friction
A body will be in its initial state forever

Second law; simply, F=ma
Where F is force, m is mass and a for acceleration
When a body forced, there’d be acceleration
If there’s no acceleration, then no force is in action
Just study the equation and you’d know what I’m saying

The third, I can say that’s my favorite
Action and reaction are equal and opposite
This law helps with problems of static equilibrium
If this law were applicable in everyday life
There’d be no fights, no wars or strife

Forgiven

I remember with flooding tears
The 18th day of June
At the reception of the Mensah’s
It was dance time and I wanted you only
I looked round, yet you I didn’t find

I searched and searched and found
You in my car with that man
Kissing, sexing whatever
The pain, the shock, the sear
Through my very heart I couldn’t bear
Then you left not even with a word

Now you back
Asking for forgiveness
Girl, I’ve forgiven and forgotten

When I met you, your aura made me tame
My heart I gave you to keep safe
I vowed: with your heart, I won’t play any game
You pledged you would do the same
Yet, you put me to disgraceful shame

Now you’re back asking for forgiveness…..

The night you told me you’d have a baby
Was skeptical, yet I was joyful
Took care of you, my all was there for you
Then you run, you left with our baby
With that guy, his name so filthy I can't mention
Abandoned and lost with no baby
You return asking for forgiveness

Darling, I just want you to know this
All that happened is past tense
You have been forgiven
And you have been forgotten
You’re like a movie
And this is
THE END!!!

When You’re Gone

The sun is dead
The moon is dulled
The stars are lost

My heart, it ceases
My nose, it closes
My limbs, they numb

These I feel
When you gone too long

The Beans Story

I returned from school, very hungry indeed
So hungry, I ran to the kitchen, high speed
My twin was cooking some beans with zeal
I asked, “I want some, please”, I plead
He refused, this boy, he won’t accede
I asked, ‘how much’, he saw my need
He said: ‘your books, your knowledge and grades in school’
I replied, “fine, take it”, this beans smells good

Content and satisfied, some gas I shoot
Later, I wondered, where are my books
I searched, he said, my books he took
My grades and knowledge was also his
Got pissed and offered to refund the beans
He refused, so I planned to burn his jeans
Then later, I’d stealthily push him in the latrine
But our blind father, he heard, his advice I took
Then he promised, later, he’d give me some books

At school, awards night, Jacob’s name was mentioned
Why?! I fumed, I’m always the first
The teacher, he said, “you’re now the last”
“Your grades and knowledge, to Jacob, you passed”
Ah, because of beans, I’m now outclassed

Home I went, on the way, more gas
I arrived; there was Jacob, dressed in sheepskin
I wondered at first, but I ignored
To our father I went and reminded him of the promise
Confused, he asked : weren’t you here a minute ago?
“I’m blind but I felt you, you are hairy, that I know”
Then it hit me, Jacob, the sheepskin he wore
In anger I screamed, “this one ‘di33’ I bore”

My gun I took and prepped it for action
I loaded and cocked it, a loud noise was heard
Then, our mother shouted:
“Esau, get an antacid”

Of My Dreams

Though dark is her glory
My love spurs her fury
She smiles like crazy
Wakes me from being lazy

She knows, I love her
But will she do me, I wonder
She’s lyrical like Stevie Wonder
And plays me like Andres Iniesta

I’m befuddled by her soft touch
Her fragrance knocks me out like King Kong’s punch
Her dreamy eyes, they immobilize me
Her melodious voice, it serenades me

I yearn for her continuous attention
She knows, she ‘flexes’
And then she flirts me
Those are crumbs, but I love her still.
